Guitarist, Vocalist and Songwriter who has been pleasing crowds for well over 30 years playing such musical venues as Concert Halls, local Bars and Clubs, Country Clubs and Private Parties. His distinctive, soulful voice and unique playing style has made him a successful and sought after session singer and guitarist for original songs, albums and jingles for much of that time as well. One of Al’s first major accomplishments was being a founding member of the “US Radio Band” whose debut album “Don’t Touch That Dial” on ABC Records in 1976 earned critical acclaim in “Billboard Magazine” and other publications. Al has also been a guest guitarist on Casablanca Records for a “Group With No Name” which included Katey Sega of “Married With Children” fame and played with “Bruce Willis and the Accelerators” in 1998 at the wrap party for “The Sixth Sense” movie. Also a founding member for “The Motors” who wrote, recorded and released a NASCAR related CD on Blacktop Records in 1998 which was produced by Don Potter (producer for “The Judds”) Al and the band played at many NASCAR events over the years. Such events include the 50th Anniversary Coca-Cola 600 race at the Start/Finish line in 1998 (as well as playing for the opening of the new Florida Panthers Hockey Arena that same year). They played at the opening of the new Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 1996 in addition to playing such charity events as the annual NASCAR Invasion in York, Pennsylvania just to mention a few. Al’s diverse musical ability enables him to cover such classic rock artists as James Taylor, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers and The Beatles; rhythm and blues artists such as Keb Mo, B.B. King and Kenny Neal and pop artists like Michael Johnson and Lionel Richie. Al even covers some old favorites like Elvis Presley, not to mention his own emotionally moving original music. There is something for everyone to enjoy when Al Snyder performs.
